Life is a book with a hardcover

We care for the cover

And tear it apart from the pages

When we are born

We forget the creator

When we grow

We forget childhood

When we marry

We forget parents

When we have children

We forget siblings

When we become rich

We forget poor

When we become old

We remember

Everything we had forgotten

We try to gather memories

But even memory fails us

Body fails us

Only sad emotions remain

And a hope to do better next time

But life is unforgiving; There are no second chances

The multiplication of relationships emotions and experiences are all left behind

What belongs to you?

Someone else gave birth

Someone else gave the name

Someone else gave education

Someone else gave a job

Someone else gave respect

Someone else gave the first and the last bath

Someone else will take you to the grave

Someone else will take your wealth after death

What I don’t understand is

Why are people so full of themselves

When nothing belongs to you

The book of life is a miracle. Do not ignore it. Life is a gift. Enjoy every page of life. So that people remember your book when you are gone. In the end, only the book remains.
