Stop Chasing Perfection (Poem)

Are you sure this is what you really want?

“Jerry the Platypus”

Stop Chasing Perfection…

Because if everything was perfect

Then there would be nothing new to expect.

If everything was perfect

Then there’d be no need to disinfect.

If everything became perfect

Then there would be nothing different to elect.

If everyone was perfect

Then there’d be no one special to respect.

If everything was perfect

Nothing would ever defect.

If everything was perfect

Then anything would never be incorrect.

If everything was perfect

Then there wouldn’t be anything to reconnect with.

If everything was perfect

Then what’s the point to reflect?

Because if everything would be perfect

Then everything would be the same, forever and ever.

Just Bland!
